Registration/Contract
In writing (registration form), or verbally, in both cases it must be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of Euro 100.00 per course and per person.
The total balance is due at the course commencement date.
Method of Payment
Payment can be made by Euro check, bank transfer, or cash.
Group Lessons
No substitute date will be offered for non-attendance of a particular course date or the entire course (or in case of cancellation notice of 3 days or less prior to the commencement date), if non-attendance is the responsibility of the participant. Furthermore, a partial or complete refund for missed dates and/or the entire course cannot be granted.
A cancellation fee of Euro 100.00 will be charged in case of a cancellation notice of 4 days or more. In such cases, course fees already paid will be refunded, excluding the cancellation fee.
Cancellations
Cancellations can only be accepted for one-to-one lessons and not later than 24 hours prior to the course date. Otherwise, the participant will incur charges for said hours.
In case the one-to-one lesson is set on a Monday, cancellations can be accepted until noon on Friday preceding the lesson.
Pricing
The prices listed on the registration form/contract exclusively refer to unit hours, not months or weeks.
Course Annulment
1.German intensive courses:
A minimum of 4 participants is required for a German intensive course to commence. The school reserves the right to cancel courses with fewer than 4 participants (fees already paid will be refunded), or, in case of courses meeting 4 days per week and after consultation with the course participants
a)reduce the unit hours as follows: 3 students – 43 hours / 2 students – 26 hours, or
b)increase the course fee as follows: 3 students – Euro 395.00 / 2 people – Euro 595.00
In case the course meets 5 times per week this rule will apply accordingly.
2. Other Languages:
A minimum of 2 participants is required for a course to commence. The school reserves the right to cancel courses with fewer than 2 participants (fees already paid will be refunded), or, after consultation with the participant, to reduce the number of unit hours by 50%, or to double the course fee.
Liability
The school is not liable for lost items, as long as the loss is not the result of gross negligence on the part of the school. It is the course participant’s responsibility to contract health, accident, and liability insurance.

1 unit hour or hour of instruction = 45 minutes
By registering the participant commits to render agreed course fees in due time and further agrees to the Conditions of Participation.
