The Philosophy
The ability to experience the character of another culture helps to master a language and understand its natural use. The intercultural awareness you'll learn at FOKUS will allow you to effectively operate with native speakers in reality. This means that you'll be equipped and prepared to handle a variety of conversations and tasks effectively.
You'll understand how to calibrate your language skills, to ensure that cross-cultural etiquette, formality and politeness are all appropriately accounted for.
Learning a new language means meeting new people, stepping into a different culture and opening up to new experiences. This is why we put language and people together in the first place using native speakers and learner centred courses.
