To help you demonstrate your language communication level, we offer a number of internationally recognised language qualifications. We can advise you on the best way to measure and certify your language skills so that you'll be motivated to learn and importantly be able to show an employer or university what you can do in your target language.

We are licensed to examine!
The FOKUS group has certified examination centres for the European Language Certificates throughout Germany.
The European Language Certificates are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching (CEF) of six competency levels. They are available in English, German and many other European languages, in general, business and specialist variations.
You can sit all of the examinations for the European Language Certificates at FOKUS. Special preparation course are offered for some certificates, but our standard programme is also suitable for the general and business certificates.

TestDaF Examination
FOKUS Stuttgart is an official test centre for TestDaF, offering regular examination dates.
TestDaF is an alternative entry examination for German Hochschulen (DSH) and is equivalent to the Deutschen Sprachdiplom of KMK, StufeI (DSH II). These examinations are at the CEF level B2-C1/2, and therefore are the highest level that we can offer.
